Forty-six people enjoyed a Christmas in July High Tea on the 27th of July. This event is getting a bit of a reputation as it sold out two months before the event. People feasted on gourmet home made specialties fit for Royalty with Buckingham Cucumber sandwiches, Chicken Royale sandwiches, Samosas, Pork Rolls, Scones, Jam and Cream, Gingerbread Cup Cakes, Cheesecake Slice, Caramel Slice, Jelly Slice, Sticky Date Pudding and Shortbread. Along with our afternoon tea, raffle and stall we raised a massive total of $2292. Thanks to Sharron, Ruth and Jayne for all of your lovely baking. Thanks also to Preserved and Pickled for donating some of their award winning Strawberry Jam to accompany the scones. Thank you also to all of the Crusaders who helped out on the day and of course you, our guests for coming.
